
Kansas City’s March for Democracy
I had a moment like that on Saturday, March 29, 2025. I lined up with my mom and two friends on the corner of 13th St. and Grand Blvd. in downtown Kansas City. Thousands gathered for the March for Democracy, preparing to walk down Main St. to the lawn of the World War I Museum and Memorial.

Reacquainting Myself with Photojournalism
On Jan. 18, 2025, about 150 people marched through the Plaza to support democracy and human rights. The Kansas City march, hosted by Liberal Ladies and Randy Fikki, joined thousands of Americans in cities throughout the nation to protest the upcoming Trump regime.
