High school senior photography trends ebb and flow in popularity. For seniors graduating in 2025, most of the trends revolve around nature, with seniors opting for organic fabrics, outdoor locations with wild landscapes, and authentic poses that showcase individuality.

Senior year is a monumental time in your child's life; capturing memories through photos is a tradition with immense sentimental value. Placed in the Crossroads District, Kansas City's Art Alley is a visual poem to its viewer, with surfaces that burst with magenta and turquoise tags, fanciful action figures and cartoons, and thought-provoking ideas painted in custom fonts. 

As a senior photographer, every season, high school seniors ask me to photograph their session at this jewel of the city, and it's always been a favorite of mine because the museum offers so much variety.

Typically, a bookshelf in the back of the bookstore is illuminated by a lamp or a single bulb. The low light is a perfect setup for beautifully moody, cinematic portraiture. 

To simplify: To print an image, you need to select high-resolution. If you're using photos for social media or on a website, choose low-resolution.
