Kansas Citians Rallied for Human Rights on International Women’s Day

Thousands assembled at Mill Creek Park in Kansas City on March 8, 2025, for a Peaceful Plaza Protest, hosted by KC Protest.

The demonstrators gathered on International Women's Day to stand up for LGBTQ+ rights, women's rights, abortion access, Black Lives Matter, immigration justice, and others.

If you're interested, Indivisible KC and March for Democracy have planned a March for Democracy at 10 a.m. on March 29. The protest will start at 13th and Grand and continue to the steps of Liberty Memorial.
