Hundreds gathered at the Country Club Plaza on March 1, 2025, as part of the Statewide Protest for Pride. The Kansas City rally, hosted by TransAct Kansas City, was joined by 13 cities across Missouri.

On Jan. 18, 2025, about 150 people marched through the Plaza to support democracy and human rights. The Kansas City march, hosted by Liberal Ladies and Randy Fikki, joined thousands of Americans in cities throughout the nation to protest the upcoming Trump regime.
