The River’s Power

Like water, life is flowing and fluid. Sometimes it’s barely moving, but the next day, it’s rushing unmercifully past.

I imagine the life of a mother to four children — three of which are four and under — would feel incredibly similar. One day she’s floating, smiling with the sun on her face. But the next she’s drowning, pulled under by the constant need and inability to get her own air.

This momma made it look easy, but I know it’s not. It takes a strong person to stand up against a current. To keep from going under. And to hold tight to her babes the entire time.
