A Little About Love

We’re constantly bombarded with snapshots of love. But they are but glimpses on the big screen. We watch with anticipation for the first kiss and are filled with heartbreak over the last one.

However, more often than not, the middle is missing from these stories. And from a cinematic perspective, it makes sense. The tension has subsided and the build up has dissipated into comfort.

But the middle is beautiful in its routine and security. I call it the fuzzy slippers version of love, and its story is just as important as the beginning.

In fact, it’s more important because it at this time when we’re tested, and we can either come together or fall apart.

So happy anniversary to these two wonderful humans, who are somewhere in the middle, and making it work.
